Starting a Blog in the Christmas Spirit!

| Blog | December 9, 2011

We decided to create a Blog to share with you interesting ideas and stuff we find around the net.

We want to start by thanking you all for supporting our site from the beginning. We hope you are enjoying it and finding it useful. Don’t forget to tell everyone about it and start benefiting from it.

Tis the season to be jolly so our first blog will be related to this wonderful Christmas time.  We don’t want to bore you from the start so we just want to discuss some tips and tricks to make this years shopping experience better.

We actually think the best way to start shopping is by browsing our site and finding what you need.  This way you will know who is selling it, how much it costs, and you can easily contact the seller for more information.  All this from the comfort of your own home!

But for the brave ones who want to tackle all the malls and stores, here are some guidelines to ease the way.

  • Always be alert and be aware of thefts and pickpockets waiting for their next victim.
  • Do not flaunt your wallet a lot, be wary of strangers looking around.
  • Try to avoid crowded places like malls and supermarkets and avoid shopping in rush hours.
  •  If you want to avoid bumping shoulders with every other shopper then go shopping on a weekday – preferably in the morning. Salespeople are a lot friendlier when they don’t have a crowd to handle.
  • One way to save money this Christmas would be to prepare a list well in advance.  Impulse shopping can keep you up at night worrying about bills!
  • Don’t Limit your choice if you have made a list.  What will yo do if you don’t find some of the items.  Plan for this in advance by writing a back up gift option on your list. This will save you a lot of time especially if you’re shopping for a large number of people.
  • Save all the receipts from your Christmas shopping expedition. You may need it later. Your gift recipient will be glad they can get a replacement.
  • Don’t wrap right away.   Check your item thoroughly before you throw on the fancy wrapping paper. Also remember to remove the price tag and other purchase particulars.

Did We Miss Anything?  Let us know by leaving your suggestions and comments below!

Happy Shopping Everyone!!!
